Eloi shamar Orphanage started sponsoring pupils in Nursery and primary School at the parish where Rev Vicky priested to support vulnerable children to access education since the distant to government schools is about 5 kilometers. materials was donated by UNICEF.

HEALTH PROGRAMS

Health and nutrition; children affected by HIV/AIDS may receive poorer care and supervision at home, may suffer from malnutrition and may not have access to available health services, no studies compared to unaffected.

We support 10 victims of HIV/AIDs children transmitted during birth by counseling, provision of balance diet to boost their immunity so that they shouldn't be weaken by ARVs.

We also support with transport for drugs collection from health centers especially distance children

LIVELIHOOD PROJECTS

This Eloi Shamar Orphanage Limited will have multiple sustainability projects that will provide a reliable revenue stream, able to support the daily operations of the organization.

Eloi Shamar Orphanage Limited works under 4 themes which include integrated sustainable livelihoods, child protection, education and health. The main activities under livelihoods in Abim include lobbying and Advocacy on access and utilization of land by women and youths, training in improved farming methods, training on agro-forestry, training on entrepreneurship skills and environmental protection among others. ESO works with stakeholders to empower communities to participate in their own development.

Orphans and Vulnerable children need to be supported
Eloi shamar Orphanage supporting 10 orphans in READ Foundation Nursery and primary School in Kotido. Read Foundation Director accepted to support a baby class boy to primary seven as her offer to the organization. We believe that solving the complex challenges of orphans, poverty and social injustices can be best achieved by working with others. By pooling resources and expertise, our collective effort is greater and more impactful than what we can deliver on our own.
Eloi shamar decided to open agro input shop in Orwamuge trading center to help in raising incomes to support orphans from schools
Eloi Shamar Orphanage also encourages planting trees for future generation
Abuk Community School was open in 2021 to support 132 Vulnerable children that can't afford Private Schools due to lack of parental care and fees The government Schools are very far away about 5kilometers away from home states.
